Farmington Hills Real Estate Market

Median home listing prices in the Farmington Hills real estate market are in the upper $200s, an increase of about 11 percent over last year. Two-bedroom homes have seen the greatest year-over-year price gains, while three-beds have seen the slowest growth. The median price per square foot is $127. Just over 60 percent of residents living here are homeowners, and the average cost of rent is about $1,200 per month.

Single family homes for sale start in the low $100s for around 1,000 square feet. Houses showing at the median price point typically feature four bedrooms, two or more baths, and around 2,000 square feet, often with an attached, two-car garage. Split-level ranch, colonial, and contemporary are among the most common architectural styles in Farmington Hills. There are quite a few historic properties on the market, including turn-of-the-century bungalows, early 20th century farmhouses, and mid-century ranch homes.
